Stila Convertible Color Palette Review

From the Spring 2015 Collection, Stila premiered this limited edition palette of their much loved convertible colors. Containing 12 shades, some part of the permanent collection and some exclusive to the palette, these cream products can be used on both cheeks and lips.

I've seen many pros stock the convertible colors as a staple in their kit so I had to jump on this palette while I had the chance. At $49 it's a good deal considering a single convertible color will run you $25. The palette allows me to have a nice array of colors on hand and since they are a cream I can mix them if I want to customize.

I found that they apply sheerer than they appear in pan (which is a good thing, as many are fairly vibrant) but they are also quite buildable. On the skin they appear very natural and dewy, with a slightly tacky texture that never completely dries down but doesn't feel uncomfortable. However, you could always dust with a setting powder such as RCMA No-Color if you wished to totally get rid of the tackiness.

All in all, having such a range of colors that go on with the great natural finish a cream provides makes this a perfect addition to my kit. Grab the Stila Field of Florals Convertible Dual Lip & Cheek Palette while it's still around!
